special regulation of the City. <br />(2) City staff or staff from other wildlife management agencies are exempt from <br />subsection (1) of this section when performing authorized duties of their position. <br />1.020 UNCLAIMED ARTICLES. <br />No person shall leave personal property unattended. An article found in a park or <br />open space area or facility shall be turned over to the City department responsible for the park area, <br />open space area, or facility and disposed of in accordance with applicable city and state law. <br />1.025 FIRES AND FIREWORKS. <br />(1) Fires are prohibited in Spencer Butte Park and the Ridgeline Park System, <br />except prescribed vegetation management fires conducted by City staff or other authorized <br />personnel. <br />(2) Fires in all other park and open space areas shall be confined to: <br />(a) Park camp stoves or fireplaces provided for that purpose. <br />(b) Portable stoves or grills in developed park/picnic areas. <br />(c) Prescribed vegetation management fires, conducted by City staff or <br />other authorized personnel. <br />(3) No fire in a park or open space area may be left unattended; every fire must <br />be extinguished by the user before leaving the park or open space area. <br />(4) The use of fireworks of all types (including sparklers, cone fountains, snakes <br />and model rockets) is prohibited in park and open space areas. <br />1.030 VEHICLES. <br />(1) No bicycles may be operated on trails designated as foot paths only. <br />(2) Motor vehicles may be operated only on roads and in parking areas <br />constructed or designated for motor vehicle use. <br />(3) No motor vehicle may be operated on a bicycle or foot path without first <br />Administrative Order - 11 <br />C: \WINDOWS \TEMP \03prkrul l ao.wpd(05 /02/03 ) <br />
