<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />July 18, 2013 <br /> <br />CONTACT: Lindsay Selser, Transportation Options Coordinator, 541-682-5094 <br /> <br />From Public Information Section, 541-682-5523 or 541-954-2938 <br /> <br />FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />No Parking Zones Set in Downtown for Sunday Streets on July 21 <br /> <br />On Sunday, July 21, from 4 a.m. to 4 p.m. the City of Eugene will be enforcing a No Parking, <br />Tow-Away Zone in downtown Eugene to accommodate the TrackTown City Center Mile and Rolf <br />Prima Downtown Criterium races and Sunday Streets event. <br />For the safety of race participants. all cars will be towed beginning at 4:30 a.m. Sunday on <br />Eighth Avenue from Oak to Lawrence streets, Lawrence Street from Eighth to 10 avenues, 10 <br />thth <br />Avenue from Lawrence from Lincoln streets, Lincoln Street from 10 Avenue to Broadway, <br />th <br />Broadway from Lincoln to Oak streets, and Oak Street from Broadway to Eighth Avenue. A route <br />map can be found at: http://www.eugene-or.gov/index.aspx?NID=2047 (the dashed line on the <br />map illustrates the No Parking Zone). <br />If you are patronizing downtown businesses on Saturday night you can park in one of the <br />many free public parking garages (except the Broadway North Garage).
