The ban <br />allows emergency vehicles and snow-removal equipment to travel safely on roadways to respond to <br />emergency situations. <br /> <br />Public Works opened its Emergency Command Center at 4 a.m. today in response to wet, heavy snow <br />WKDWEODQNHWHGWKHVRXWKHQGRIWKH:LOODPHWWH9DOOH\RYHUQLJKW&UHZVDUHIRFXVLQJRQGRZQWUHHVPRUH <br />than a dozen reports of trees falling have been received, and the number of calls is rising as people get <br />up and realize what has happened. <br /> <br />People are advised to stay at home.
