ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER N0.58-04-11-F <br />of the <br />City Manager <br />AMENDMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 58-03-07-F <br />REGARDING AIRPORT RULE 5.4.4.3(B) AND 7.9.2. <br />The City Manager of the City of Eugene fords that: <br />A. Pursuant to the authority contained in Sections 2.019 and 2.430 of the Eugene Code, <br />1971, Rules Governing the Use of Mahlon Sweet Airport ("Airport Rules") were adopted by <br />Administrative Order No. 58-03-07-F on May 9, 2003. <br />B. Pursuant to that authority and based on the findings contained in Administrative <br />Order No. 58-04-11 issued on March 22, 2004, I notified the Mayor and City Councilors that I <br />proposed to amend Section 5.4.4.3(b) of the Airport Rule to allow self-service fueling operators at <br />the Eugene Airport to fuel tanks with a maximum capacity of 15,000 gallons, and amend Section <br />7.9.2 of the Airport Rules to correct references to ASTM standards. <br />C. Notice of the proposed amendments was also given by making copies available to <br />any person who had requested such notice and by publication thereof in the Register Guard, a <br />newspaper of general circulation within the City for five consecutive days, to wit: March 29, 30, 3 1, <br />April 1 and Apri12, 2004. The Notice provided that written comments would be received for a <br />period of 15 days from the date of the first publication. No comments were received within the time <br />or in the manner provided in the notice. <br />Based upon the above findings, which are hereby adopted, and pursuant to the authority <br />contained in Sections 2.019 and 2.430 of the Eugene Code, 1971, I hereby adopt the following <br />amendments to Section 5.4.4.3(b) and 7.9.2 of the Airport Rules as noted above: <br />RULES GOVERNING USE OF MAIII.ON SWEET AIRPORT <br />5. RULES OF LIMITED APPLICABILITY. <br />5.4 Fueling Aircraft. <br />5.4.4 Self-Service Fueling. <br />5.4.4.3 Self-Service Fueling Facilities. Plans and specifications for the <br />construction and installation ofself-service fueling facilities, including all proposed <br />fuel dispensing and storage equipment, shall be approved by the Airport Manager <br />prior to installation, subj ect to the requirements of these Airport Rules, the following <br />special requirements and conditions of the operating permit: <br />Administrative Order - 1 <br />
