ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER N0. 58-92-15
of the City of Eugene
ESTABLISHING FEES FOR
ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR PRIVATELY CONSTRUCTED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
The City Manager of the City of Eugene finds as follows:
A. Sections 2.020 and 7.130 of the Eugene Code authorize the City
Manager to determine and set fees and charges to be imposed by the City for
services, goods, use of municipal property, licenses and permits, including
charges for engineering services on privately constructed public improvements.
B. In accordance with the procedures set forth therein, on July 28,
1992, I notified the Mayor and Council that I intended to revise the rates
charged for engineering services for privately constructed public improvements.
The Notice was published in the Register .Guard on July 28, 1992; posted at two
locations at City Hall on July 28, 1992; and made available to interested
persons at the office of the City Manager. The Notice provided that written
comments would be received for a period of fifteen days from the date of
posting and publication. No written comments were received within the time
provided in the Notice.
C. I find that the rates for engineering services for privately con-
structed public improvements hereinafter set forth are consistent with applica-
ble policies and directives of the Council; are based on the consideration of
the full cost of providing such engineering services; and will, impose an
equitable share of the cost of City engineering services on new development.
On the basis of these findings I order that:
Effective July 1, 1992,. the hourly rates for engineering services on privately
constructed public improvements are as follows:
Class Description Rate
Public Works Engineering:
9074 Supervising Civil Engineer $68.87
4111 Civil Engineer $63.41
4100 City Surveyor $44.88
4085 Property Management Spec.' $52..80
4073 .Senior Engineering Tech $52.47
4014 Engineering Survey Tech $44.76
4013 Assoc. Engineering Tech $45.23
4012 Engineering Tech $43.33
9153 Principle Facilities Project Mgr. $62.15
5283 Facilities Project Mgr. $55.15
3520 Landscape Architect $52.80
