ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER <br />of the <br />Traffic Engineer of the City. of Eugene, Oregon <br />Establishing a Residential Permit Parking Zone <br />For the north side of East 19th Aveaue <br />west from Onyx Street to the midblock alley <br />• ~ The Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene finds that: <br />A. Administrative Rule R-5.040, Residential Permit Parking Zones Regulations,. <br />provides that the designation of or removal of such permit parking zones would be effected <br />by administrative order of the City's Traffic Engineer. <br />B. On December 05, 1996, the City received ari application signed by over 50% <br />of the adjacent property owners and tenants for designating a residential permit parking <br />zone for the north side of East 19th Avenue west from Onyx Street to the midblock~alley. <br />C. Notice o£ the City's intent. to establish a residential permit parking zone <br />was given to property owners and tenants within the affected area of the proposed zone. <br />,~ D. The proposed zone has been reviewed and, is found to be in .substantial <br />~ conformity with the policies, regulations and criteria set forth in Rule R-5.040. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />Based-upon the above findings, and pursuant to the authority contained. in <br />--, Administrative Rule R-5.040, the Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene orders that: <br />1. The area described is hereby established as a residential permit parking <br />zone: <br />The north side of East 19th Avenue, west from Onyx Street to the midblock <br />alley. <br />2. The zone shall be designated Zone A•and>'shall allow 2-hour public parking <br />between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday .through Friday, except legal holidays and except <br />Zone A permitted •rehicles. <br />3. Persons residing in or owning residential property within the zone <br />designated herein may apply for a Zone A permit entitling the holder thereof to <br />preferential long-term parking at Zonc- A signed parking areas within the designated zone. <br />4.
