S~~vi-~~ <br />ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER <br />of the <br />-- Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene, <br />~0/pp <br />Oregon <br />Establishing a Residential Permit Parking Zone <br />For The North Side of E 14~ Avenue's Half Block, West of Mill Street <br />The Traffic 8ngineer of the City of Eugene finds that: <br />A. Administrative Rule R-5.040, Residential Permit Parking Zones <br />Regulations, provides that the designation of or removal of such permit parking <br />zones would be effected by administrative order of the City's Traffic Engineer. <br />B. On December 28, 1998, the City made the decision for a trial period <br />(1/99-9/99) residential permit parking zone for the north side of E 14ei Avenue's <br />half block located west of Mill Street. This proved successful and is now to <br />become a permanent zone. <br />C. Notice of the City's intent to establish a trial residential permit <br />parking zone had been given to property owners and tenants within the affected <br />area of the proposed zone prior to the trial period.. No new notice is necessary. <br />D. The proposed zone has been reviewed and is found to be in conformity <br />with the policies, regulations and criteria set forth in Rule R-5.040. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />,' Based upon the above findings, and pursuant to the authority contained in <br />~'_ Administrative Rule R-5.040, the Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene orders <br />that: <br />1. The area described is hereby established as a residential permit <br />parking zone: <br />The north side of E 14ei Avenue's half block, west of Mill Street. <br />2. The zone shall be designated Zone "B" and shall allow 2-hour public <br />parking between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except legal <br />holidays and except Zone B permitted vehicles. <br />3. Persons residing in or owning residential property within the zone <br />designated herein may apply for a Zone B permit entitling the holder thereof to <br />preferential long-term parking at Zone B signed parking areas within the <br />designated zone. <br />4.
