ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 58-OS-OS-F <br />of the <br />AIRPORT MANAGER <br />AMENDMENT OF SECTIONS 4, 5, 13, AND 15 OF THE AIRPORT FEE <br />SCHEDULE AND REPEAL OF ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 58-04- <br />22-F. <br />The Airport Manager of the City of Eugene finds as follows: <br />A. Authority is granted to the City Manager of the City of Eugene under Sections <br />2.440 to 2.442 of the Eugene Code, 1971 to set fees and charges for the use of the Eugene <br />Airport. The City Manager has further delegated that authority to the Airport Manager under <br />Airport Rule 8.4.2. <br />B. Pursuant to that delegated authority, on June 17, 2005, I issued Administrative <br />Order No. 58-OS-OS, and notified the Mayor and City Council that I intended to amend the <br />Airport Fee Schedule established by Administrative Order No. 58-04-22-F on December 23, <br />2004, as set forth in the Notice attached as Exhibit A thereto. <br />C. Notice .was also posted at two locations at the Airport and published in the <br />Register Guard, a newspaper of general circulation within the City, on June 17, 2005, provided <br />to persons who had requested notice, persons who are currently paying such charges, and was <br />made available for inspection by interested persons at the offices of the Airport Manager, 28855 <br />Lockheed Drive; Eugene, Oregon 97402, during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., <br />Monday through Friday, exclusive of holidays). <br />D. Notice provided that written comments would be received for 15 days from the <br />date of posting and publication. No comments were received within the time or in the manner <br />described in the Notice. <br />E. Based upon the above findings and the findings in Administrative Order No. 58- <br />05-05, and after investigating the amount charged for such use in the past; comparable amounts <br />or rates charged by other airports; the amounts or rates and other municipal benefits agreed to by <br />comparable users of the airport in a contract, lease, or permit; and, the revenue needs of the <br />airport, I have determined that tl~e Airport Fee Schedule should be amended as proposed, and the <br />fees set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto should be established as the fees for the described <br />services. <br />Administrative Order -Page 1 <br />
