Agency Compliance: The City of Eugene has voluntarily established an Affirmative Action Plan and has <br /> an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) policy. The City's first Affirmative Action <br /> Plan was written in 1975. Over the years, the City's Affirmative Action plans have <br /> included information about the diversity of the City's work force and goals for <br /> increasing the representation of people with disabilities, women, and ethnic minority <br /> groups. <br /> The City prepares an Affirmative Action Plan, with each Department preparing their <br /> own department plan. The plan reviews the current make-up of the workforce and <br /> defines representation objectives.
