Noble, 44, has served at the Eugene Airport since 1995 and has been acting mans er of the airport since April 2000. Nobl was selected from a field of 54 applicants to run the municipal airport as manager of the Euge a Public Works Airport Division. As manager, Noble will oversee a $4.5 million annual bud et and a staff of 28 employees. "The Eugene Airport is the gateway to the southern Willamette Valley, and I look forward to providing stewardship of this highly regarded facility, to build on the successes achieved in the past an~l to create new initiatives to improve our service," Noble said. "I will work closely with the co munity to meet their needs and obtain their support." Nob a has worked for the City of Eugene, primarily in the transportation area, for 25 years. He ttended Lane Community College and the University of Oregon, and he currently is a student plot at the airport. He is vice president of the Oregon Airport Managers Association ~r? and an ex cbfficio member of the Convention Visitors Association of Lane County.
