Salt Lake City, which is one of Delta's primary <br /> hubs, offers ~2 non-stop destinations, including recently expanded service to the East Coast. <br /> "Getting more eastbound connections is a top priority for us and our travelers," said Bob <br /> Noble, mana er of the Eugene Airport. "This furthers our goal of meeting the regional demand <br /> for air servic~." <br /> Thro gh SkyWest, Delta served the Eugene market for three years before departing in <br /> May 1998. ince then, officials from Eugene Airport have been communicating with SkyWest <br /> regarding re toration of air service to this market, particularly as SkyWest's fleet of regional jets <br /> has grown. <br /> In 19 7, when SkyWest was serving Eugene, Salt Lake City was one of the top five <br /> destinations or Eugene travelers.
