Crews will also place rock bolts to <br /> secure the slope. The new sidewalk will be wider than the existing sidewalk, allowing safer <br /> passage fo bicyclists and pedestrians and easier accommodation for maintenance sweepers. <br /> ' Co struction is scheduled to begin in early June and be completed by early August. To <br /> ' minimize i pacts to people traveling through the area, much of the work will take place at night. <br /> The existin sidewalk will be closed to pedestrians and bicyclists for short periods at times <br /> I <br /> during con truction.
