At 1 a.m., work will begin at several sites along the creek, including Jiffy Mart on East <br /> l <br /> j Amaz ors, 33'' and East Amason, the running trail at 24~' and Hilyard, Oakpatch Road and <br /> Amazon l;rE k, and Patterson hlementary. In 1994, Eugene Stream Team <br /> becar nE: i ivc ved and began recruiting neighborhood groups, service organizations, businesses, <br /> J <br /> ~ and 2 gr::ncie to adopt segmeni:s of the creek and initiate specific clean up and restoration <br /> proje~;te~. In ~ event years, 900 tr:? 200 people have participated in the event, depending on the <br /> weatl ier, <br /> "'VJor k is love made visit~le," says Stream Team Coordinator Loma Baldwin. "Every year <br /> peop a cc>m~:out to show appreciation for the creek at fihis event."
