Visitors to the park are asked to enter through Summit Avenue <br /> or take othe routes through the park. <br /> For t e next couple of months, Walama Forest Restoration, a contractor that speaalizes <br /> in forest res ration work, will be systematically removing invasive vegetation, primarily ivy and <br /> b(ackbeny p ants, from the forest in Hendricks Park. These invasive plants stifle the growth of <br /> the native u derstory, undermine the trees and disturb the ecological equilibrium in the forest, <br /> threatening a long-term viability of the fragile forest ecosystem. <br /> For ore information, call 682-4822. <br /> i <br /> <br />
