_ nn CITY OF EUGENE I TER-DEPARTMENTAL MEMORANDUM CITY ATTORNEY -CIVIL DEPARTMENT To: Regina Badger, Executive Assistant Date: January 26, 1990 City Manager's Office Subject: Administrative Order Amending Airport Rules W are enclosing an Administrative Order that proposes the amendment of Rules 1, 9, 10 a d 11 of the Rules Governing Use of Mahlon Sweet Airport for signature of the City Man ger. Nancy Young indicated this should be sent to your attention. O ce the order has been dated and signed, the Notice of Intended Rulemaking (also encl sed) needs to be completed and delivered to the Register Guard for publication. The date the Order is signed needs ~ to be inserted in the first paragraph. You will also need to etermine the date the Notice will be published and then insert in the last paragrap the appropriate date that is 20 days thereafter. This date must be 20 full days after the ate of publication, and excludes that date. For example, if the notice were to be publis ed on February 2nd, the proper date to insert in the last paragraph would be February 23rd, since the full 20 day requirement would not be met until midnight of February 2nd. As you will note in the notice, written comments or objections must be submitted to the Ci Manager within 15 days of the date of publication. Once that 15 day period has expir d please provide us with any comments that were received, or advise that none were, so a can prepare the appropriate order for the Manager's adoption of these amendme ts.
