CTTY FILE I~iO S .g' ~ % ~ ~ ~ <br /> ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER <br /> OF THE <br /> PUBLIC WORKS EXECUTIVE MANAGER <br /> <br /> Under Ad inistrative Order of the City Manager, the Public Works Executive <br /> <br /> Manager as the delegated authority to execute contracts on behalf of the City <br /> of Eugen in the amount of $50,000 or less. This authority includes the <br /> executio of contract change orders which are within budget contingency for <br /> that con ract or project, and are within change order guidelines of Public <br /> Contract Administrative Rules. ' <br /> Based on the above, the Public Works Executive Manager orders that: <br /> 1. Pu lic Works Division Managers shall be responsible to the Public Works <br /> Ex cutive Manager for: the initiation, content, award, obtaining of <br /> si natures, budgetary encumbrance, consistency with local budget law, <br /> fi ing with the City Recorder, administration, and compliance with <br /> ap licable federal, state and local statutes and policies for contracts <br /> wh ch carry out the programs of their divisions. <br /> 2. Al Public Works contracts shall be submitted to the Public Works <br /> Ex cutive Manager for execution. Contracts for amounts over $50,000 <br /> sh 11 be initialed by the Public Works Executive Manager and signed by <br /> th City Manager. <br /> 3. An contract submitted to the Public Works Executive Manager for <br /> ex cution shall have the initials of the Division Manager who recommends <br /> ex cution of the contract. <br /> 4. Th City Engineer and Airport Manager shall have the authority to <br /> ex cute change orders for construction contracts which are within budget <br /> co tingency for that contract or project, and are within change order <br /> guidelines of the Public Contract Administrative Rules. Any change <br /> or er shall be consistent with applicable provisions of the original <br /> co tract.
