i <br /> } <br /> f <br /> R <br /> <br /> • ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 58-97-06-F <br /> of the <br /> AIRPORT MANAGER <br /> REVISING THE AIRPORT SHORT TERM AND LONG TERM PARKING RATES <br /> SET FORTH IN EXHIBIT A TO ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER N0.58-96-19-F. <br /> The Airport Manager of the City of Eugene finds as follows: <br /> A. Sections 2.440 to 2,442 of the Eugene Code, 1971 authorize the City Manager or designee to <br /> se~ fees and charges for the use of the Eugene Airport. Under Airport Rule 8.4.2, the City Manager has delegated <br /> that authority to the Airport Manager. <br /> j B, in accordance with the procedures set forth in Sections 2.440 to 2.442 of the Eugene Code, 1971, <br /> orb May 7, 1997 I issued Administrative Order No. 58-97-06 proposing an increase in the short term and long <br /> parking lot fees contained in Section 12 of the Airport Fee Schedule, as set forth in the Notice of Intended <br /> F es attached as Exhibit A thereto. <br /> i C. The Notice was provided to the Mayor and City Councilors, posted at two locations at the <br /> A~rport on May 13, 1997, published in the Register Guard, a newspaper of general circulation within the.City <br /> o~ May 13, 1997, and made available for inspection by interested persons at the offices of the Airport Manager, <br /> 2 855 Lockheed Drive, Eugene, Oregon 97402 during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday <br /> ough Fnday, exclusive of holidays). The Notice provided that written comments would be received thereon <br /> f r a period of 15 days from the first date of posting and publication. No comments were received within the time <br /> o in the manner required by the Notice. <br /> D. After investigating the fees charged at other airports, the City's policies on recovery of user fees, <br /> d the revenue needs of the Eugenc Airport, I have detenmined that the short term and long term parking lot fees <br /> s t forth in Section 12 of the Airport Fee Schedule should be increased, as proposed. <br /> On the basis of these findings, I order that: <br /> 1. The short term and longterm parking lot fees set forth in Section 12 of the Airport Fee Schedule <br /> a ched as Exhibit A to Administrative Order No. 58-96-19-F are hereby amended as set forth in Exhibit A <br /> reto, as of the effective date of this Order. <br /> 2.
