_ i <br /> <br /> • y <br /> ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO.rl-'4~-' ~ ~ ~ <br /> ' of the <br /> City Manager of the City of Eugene <br /> ONSTRUCTION WITHIN AND USE OF THE PUBLIC WAY <br /> EMERGENCY ADMINISTRATIVE RULE R-7.302 <br /> The Ci y Manager of the City of Eugene finds that: <br /> A. ection 2.019 of the Eugene Code, 1971, authorizes the City Manager to adopt <br /> rules for imple entation of any provisions of that Code. In addition to that authority, Section <br /> 7.302 establis ing policies, standards and procedures for the placement of facilities within the <br /> public way wa amended by Ordinance No. 20083 passed by the City Council and approved by <br /> the Mayor on pri128, 1997. The amendments contained in Ordinance No. 20083 include the <br /> creation of S tion 7.302(6) of the Eugene Code, 1971, which requires establishment of <br /> administrative les and specifies minimum requirements for said rules. <br /> B. doption of this Construction Within and Use of the Public Way Emergency <br /> Administrative Rule R-7.302 is necessary in order to ensure that use of the public way is in <br /> compliance wi the newly adopted provisions of the Eugene Code, 1971.
