Administrative Rule R-5.040, Residential Permit Parking Zones <br /> Regulations provides that the designation of or removal of such permit parking <br /> zones would be effected by administrative order of the City's Traffic Engineer. <br /> B. On December 21,1997, the City received an application signed by over <br /> j 50~ of the adjacent property owners and tenants for designating a residential <br /> ( permit parking zone for the west side of Lawrence Street's 900 block. <br /> ' C. Notice of the City's intent to establish a residential permit parking <br /> i zone was g'ven to property owners and tenants within the affected area of the <br /> proposed zo e. ~ - <br /> i <br /> D. The proposed zone has been reviewed and is found to be in conformity <br /> with the po icies, regulations and criteria set forth in Rule R-5.040. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> Based upon the above findings, and pursuant to the authority contained in <br /> Administrative Rule R-5.040, the Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene orders <br /> that . <br /> 1. The area described is hereby established as a residential permit <br /> I parking zo <br /> I <br /> ~ The west side of Lawrence Street's 900 block. <br /> I 2. The zone shall be designated Zone E and shall allow 2-hour public <br /> parking be ween 7:00 a.m, and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except legal <br /> holidays a except Zone E permitted vehicles. <br /> i <br /> 3. Persons residing in or owning residential property within the zone <br /> designated erein may apply for a Zone E permit entitling the holder thereof to <br /> preferenti long-term parking at Zone E signed parking areas within the <br /> designated zone. <br /> 4.
