ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER <br /> o f the <br /> Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene, Oregon <br /> Establishing a Residential Permit Parking Zone <br /> For The North Side of E. 14th Avenue's Half Block West of Mill Street <br /> The T affic Engineer of the City of Eugene finds that: <br /> A. dministrative Rule R-5.040, Residential Permit Parking Zones <br /> Regulations, provides that the designation of or removal of such permit parking <br /> zones would e effected by administrative order of the City's Traffic Engineer. <br /> B. On December 28, 1998, the City made the decision to admit on a trial <br /> basis (Janu ry, 1999 - September 1999) the high density living area along the <br /> north side o E. 14th Avenue between Mill Street and the alley to the west into <br /> the Residen ial Permit Parking Program. <br /> C. otice of the City's intent to establish a residential permit parking <br /> zone was gi en to property owners and tenants within the affected area of the <br /> proposed zo e. <br /> D. The proposed zone has been reviewed and is found to be in conformity <br /> with the po icies, regulations and criteria set forth in Rule R-5.040. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br /> ~r Based upon the above findings, and pursuant to the authority contained in <br /> Administrative Rule R-5.040, the Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene orders <br /> that: <br /> 1. The area described is hereby established as a residential permit <br /> parking zon <br /> The n rth side of E. 14th Avenue from Mill Street to the alley to the west. <br /> 2. The zone shall be designated Zone B and shall allow 2-hour public <br /> parking bet een 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except legal <br /> holidays an except Zone B permitted vehicles. <br /> 3. Persons residing in or owning residential property within the zone <br /> designated erein may apply for a Zone B permit entitling the holder thereof to <br /> preferentia long-term parking at Zone B signed parking areas within the <br /> designated one for the 1999 permit year. <br /> 4.
