For The South Side of W. 8~ Avenue, Lawrence Street East to Mid Block <br /> I <br /> <br /> i <br /> The T affic Engineer of the City of 8ugene finds that: <br /> A. Administrative Rule R-5.040, Residential Permit Parking Zones <br /> Regulations, provides that the designation of or removal of such permit parking <br /> i zones would a effected by administrative order of the City's Traffic Engineer. <br /> B. On September 17, 1999, the City received an application signed by <br /> ;over 50~k o the adjacent property owners and tenants for designating a <br /> residential ermit parking zone for the half block of W. 8~' Avenue 's south side <br /> east of Law ence Street. <br /> <br /> j C. Notice of the City's intent to establish a residential permit parking <br /> i <br /> <br /> ~ ~ zone was gi en to property owners and tenants within the affected area of the <br /> proposed zo e. <br /> r <br /> i D. The proposed zone has been reviewed and is found to be in conformity <br /> with the po icies, regulations and criteria set forth in Rule R-5.040. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> ` Based upon the above findings, and pursuant to the authority contained in <br /> Administrat ve Rule R-5.040, the Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene orders <br /> that . <br /> I 1. The area described is hereby established as a residential permit <br /> parking zon <br /> The south side of W. 8°h Avenue, Lawrence Street east one half block. <br /> 2. The zone shall be designated Zone "E" and shall allow 2-hour public <br /> parking bet een 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except legal <br /> holidays an except Zone "E" permitted vehicles. <br /> ~3. Persons residing in or owning residential property within the zone <br /> designated erein may apply for a Zone "E" permit entitling the holder thereof <br /> to preferen ial long-term parking at Zone "E" signed parking areas within the <br /> designated one. <br /> 4.
