Beginning Monday, May 19, these additional traffic advisories are in effect: <br /> 27th venue from Amazon Parkway to Jefferson Street - On-street parking will be <br /> prohibited in areas. 27th Avenue will be closed on both the east and west sides of the intersection <br /> with Willam tte Street from May 22 to May 26 to perform concrete pavement repairs. On <br /> Willamette treet at 27th Avenue, one lane in the each direction will be closed on Willamette Street <br /> from May 2 to May 26. <br /> Cha Drive from the east end of Chad to Coburg Road -Two-way traffic will be allowed <br /> at all times, xcept during night work. Chad Drive will be closed from Coburg Road to the <br /> easternmos Costco entrance from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Monday, May 19, and Thursday May 22. <br /> Night work n Chad Drive will also take place Friday, May 23; howevertwo-way traffic will be <br /> maintained uring this shift. On Coburg Road at Chad Drive, watch for lane closures and <br /> construction traffic on the north side of the Chad Drive intersection from 9 a.m. to 6 a.m. on <br /> Monday, M 19, and Thursday, May 22. <br /> Cha bers Street from Railroad Boulevard to West Eighth Avenue -Two-way traffic <br /> will be allow d at all times, except during night work. Chambers Street from West Second Avenue <br /> to West Eig th Avenue will be closed from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. on Tuesday, May 20, and Wednesday, <br /> May 21. W st Sixth and West Seventh avenues will remain open during the Chambers Street <br /> closures; ho ever motorists should watch for lane closures and construction equipment traffic on <br /> Sixth and S venth avenues as they approach Chambers Street. <br /> In of er roadwork updates, preliminary construction activities have been completed on <br /> <br /> ~i Barger Driv from Primrose to Terry streets. Paving work on that section of Barger, as well as the <br /> section of B rger from Highway 99 to Altimont Street is scheduled to begin in early June. <br /> Mor than 46 lane miles of streets in Eugene are scheduled for overlay or slurry seal <br /> repairs this ummer as part of the City's $5.5 million 2008 pavement preservation program.
