I see that employees have been using
this GJN for a while and associating several types of work with it including design work.
I'm ending this a-mail in hard copy to you, Peggy, along w/ copies of the timesheets using the earlier coding. In looking at
the'timesheets, Ifeel confident that people were doing warranty work and that 4230 is the correct GJN.

As !I see it, we have a couple of ways to go to implement one work type. One is to leave the historical information right

where it is in job costing and then inactivate all associated work types other than 138 so that we can gather data correctly
in the future. I vote for this option because I don't think there's much added value in doing job costing journals for last FY.
Thy other option is to do a complete clean-up. I'll go w/ whatever you choose.
Le{ me know when the work type has been limited to 138 and I'll send out an a-mail to affected staff. Questions? I'm here
until Wednesday and then off for two weeks. Thanks Cathy
~f ~~lL~
1
~
C
<<
~ v
