PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT <br />Public Works Administration <br />The Public Works Administration division is responsible for the overall supervision and administration of the <br />department and acts as a liaison between the City Manager and the operating divisions. This division coordinates <br />department financial management, disseminates public information and works with news media. Administration <br />also provides technical support for the City's air and noise control programs, coordinates the department's data <br />processing needs and participates in environmental impact statements in cooperation with other agencies. <br />, <br />For the purposes of this plan, the operating organizations within this department are: Engineering,Maintenance <br />Regional Sewage Treatment,Wastewater Collection,Stormwater Management,Wetlands,Aviation,Professional <br />Services,POS & Maintenance Professional Services,Fleet Services,Road, and Parks and Open Spaces. <br />With the exception of Regional Sewage Treatment, there is divisional indirect within each operating organization <br />serving exclusively the needs of that operating organization.
