LIBRARY, RECREATION, AND CULTURAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT <br />Library, Recreation, and Cultural Services Administration <br />The LRCS Administration division provides budgeting and purchasing oversight to department programs, <br />oversees department-wide resource development and service improvement strategies, and acts as aliaison to <br />other City departments, elected officials, the City Manager,and citizen groups. It also ensures that citizens are <br />kept informed of recreation, cultural,and library activities through news media, quarterly leisure schedules, <br />posters, flyers, maps, internet sites, brochures, and slide presentations. <br />Within LRCS Administration, costs totaling $343,795were identified as unallowable costs. These costs were <br />deducted from costs to be allocated as department administration costs. <br />For the purposes of this plan, the operating organizations within this department are: Recreation,Cultural <br />Services,andLibrary. <br />There is divisional indirect in Recreation, Cultural Services, andLibrary serving exclusively the needs of those <br />operating organizations. These costs are listed in Column 2 of Appendix 1.0. <br />Exhibit D.33 <br />
