CENTRAL SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS <br />Central Services Administration <br />Central Services Administration ensures that projects and services of the operating reporting units support City <br />Council goals, public service deliverydepartments, and reflect the priorities of the City Council and the boards, <br />commissions, and Executive Management Team which are advisory to it. Administration staff act as liaison to the <br />City Manager, City Council, and other departments and coordinate budgets, personnel, and strategic planning <br />activities. In addition, it houses Service Improvement which provides direct support for service improvement <br />efforts in the central service organizations, as well as the coordination of the measurement and reporting services <br />for all City departments. Service Improvement also provides support for the ICMA benchmark program <br />From this central service organization, costs totaling $496,648were identified as unallowable costs. These costs <br />werededucted from costs to be allocated as central service costs. <br />Exhibit D.4 <br />
