Yesterday going home on my bike, as I have for twenty years, I went down when my front tire crossed the white line to
avoid some leaves, this is not the first time I have slipped on this thick line but it is my first crash, luckily I ended up with only minor
abrasions, and a torn jacket. I have seen other riders go down just before 5th Street at the dividing line in the middle to turn
left /right /straight. At this point riders have to cross two lines to make a left tum. I know there are other streets that have a thick line
but not as thick or as slick as Lincoln St. I am hoping that something can be done about this before someone is seriously hurt. I
especially think about the rider who has a child with them on their bike.
