Hop on a bike and pedal down to <br />Owen Memorial Rose Garden (300 N Jefferson St.) to join more than 200 people on a casual bike <br />ride around Eugene to celebrate women on wheels. Meet at 1:30 p.m. at the Rose Garden to be <br />ready to join in the ride that will be departing at 2 p.m. sharp. <br />CycloFemme is an annual international Mother’s Day ride that unites riders, regardless of <br />gender, age, ethnicity, or bicycle preference to share in the joy of riding bikes. Ride with us in <br />Eugene as we honor the past, celebrate the present, and empower the future of women in cycling. <br />Eugene's version of this international ride will have a “pretty skirts” theme (to be <br />interpreted by you), balloons, cake, and temporary tattoos. We will ride an easy, flat 6+ mile ride at <br />a leisurely pace along Eugene’s bike paths and city streets on Sunday afternoon. <br />If you would like to meet up with neighbors from your area in town to ride to the meeting <br />location together, help distribute posters and fliers, sponsor the event, or have general questions <br />about the ride, please contact Emma Newman at emma.e.newman@ci.eugene.or.us or call 541-501- <br />0356.
