No. 209 - 3026). Seed and plants were purchased from multiple
vendors in order to achieve desired native plant diversity. Due to limited availability of
native prairie plant materials it was necessary to purchase from multiple sources.
Plant materials for this project came from the City of Eugene's Native Plant Nursery and
from two vendors, Heritage Seedlings, Inc. and Pacific Northwest Natives. At your
request, we have attached the City's full invoices from the two vendors, showing our
entire purchases from those vendors for 2012. The Wild Iris Ridge seed amounts
represent a portion of these total native seed purchases. The invoice from the City's
Native Plant Nursery is specific to the materials for Wild Iris Ridge, and represents
additional seed as well as all of the plants and bulbs purchased for the project. Enclosure
1 provides a detailed account of the Wild Iris Ridge seed, summarizing the species and
amounts used in the seed mixes, and their source.
The table below summarizes the plant materials purchased by vendor for Wild Iris Ridge.
Vendor
Seed Amount (lbs)
Cost
Heritage Seedlings, Inc.
36.6
$2,358.87
Pacific Northwest Natives
33.9
$635.04
City of Eugene Native Plant
20
$2,400.00
Nursery (seed)
City of Eugene Native Plant
5,120
$5,751.50
Nursery (plants)
plants and bulbs
TOTAL AMOUNT DUE
$11,145.41
Please don't hesitate to contact me at 541 - 682 -4874 if you have any questions or
need further information.
