<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />September 18, 2012 <br /> <br />CONTACT: <br />Reed Dunbar, Associate Transportation Planner, 541-682-5727 <br /> <br />From Public Information Section, 541-682-5523 or 541-954-2938 <br /> <br />FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Open House Looks at Options for West 18th Paving Project <br /> <br />A community open house is scheduled for Tuesday, September 25, to discuss a <br />pavement rehabilitation project for West 18th Avenue from Washington to Chambers streets. <br />The meeting is scheduled from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Cesar Chavez Elementary School cafeteria, <br />th <br />1510 W. 14 Ave. <br />The paving work is scheduled for 2013. There will be a presentation on the existing <br />street configuration and discussion on design options, which could include removal of on-street <br />parking, adding a center turn lane, widening bike lanes, or other changes as a result of public <br />input.
