SMITH Tammy D
From:WEIXELMAN Susan E
Sent:Monday, July 23, 2012 9:15 AM
To:SMITH Tammy D; PETERSON Tish A
Subject:FW: POS/PWM FTE Split & Summary
FYI……

_____________________________________________
From: TINTLE Robert D
Sent: Friday, July 20, 2012 3:16 PM
To: WEIXELMAN Susan E; RISDAL Lacey L
Subject: RE: POS/PWM FTE Split & Summary

Andi called me back after discussing with Finn. She said the best option (the only option really) was to handle the
general fund portion through the supplemental budget process. We can process the road fund’s portion through 341 in
FY12.

We still need to have the conversation about ongoing transfers from the GF and RF and make sure this is handled
through the FY14 budget process. In addition, if we don’t end up getting the GF portion through SB, we need to make
sure it is reimbursed as we develop the FY14 budget.

We can talk more next week, but wanted to get these thoughts down while they were still a little fresh in my memory.

_____________________________________________
From: TINTLE Robert D
Sent: Thursday, July 19, 2012 1:34 PM
To: WEIXELMAN Susan E; RISDAL Lacey L
Subject: RE: POS/PWM FTE Split & Summary

I had an initial conversation with Andi. She is going to check with Finn and get back to me. I’ll keep you posted.
Also – thanks for the information.

_____________________________________________
From: WEIXELMAN Susan E
Sent: Thursday, July 19, 2012 12:48 PM
To: TINTLE Robert D; RISDAL Lacey L
Subject: RE: POS/PWM FTE Split & Summary

Me again, here is another split done by total 5, 6 and 7 costs… (also on this one, I combined 533 into 534
and probably should do that for the FTE one as well).

I don’t think there is a perfect allocation method, however, with funding changes over time, I could
support the 25% allocation given the “life” of the yard. If we are too exact based on a few years data,
it could definitely skew the longer term view.

1
