Service Address: <br />Danebo Elementary School <br />Service Details: <br />Hello Eugene Public Works Department, My name is Joanne Gross, and I'm writing on behalf of the Danebo Elementary PTO about some dangerous <br />issues the school has been experiencing with the crosswalk in front of it. There have been several complaints that drivers have been ignoring the <br />crosswalk and driving through it, even when a car on the opposite side has stopped to let children cross, and people have been parking large <br />automobiles along the street right next to the crosswalk so that drivers cannot see kids walking out into the road from behind the cars and trucks. An <br />easy solution to keeping people from parking along the street next to the crosswalk would be to simply paint the curb yellow on either side of it. <br />Would it be possible for you to come out and paint the curb there yellow for us? Also, could you help us find a way to raise driver awareness to <br />children in the crosswalk?
