For instructions on activating your specific device visit support.vzw.com and <br />search for the keyword "activating" followed by the device manufacturer and model. You must be <br />located within the Verizon Wireless network to successfully activate your device. <br />3G Devices <br />Follow these steps to complete over - the -air programming: <br />1. Dial *228 then press SEND (the button used to initiate a call). <br />2. When prompted, press 1 (one) to begin programming. <br />3. Wait for up to 2 minutes while the network links your service with your phone. When <br />programming is complete, you will hear a confirmation message and the call will end automatically. <br />4. Power -cycle your device to complete over - the -air activation. <br />4G Devices <br />Follow these steps to complete over - the -air programming: <br />Power off the device. <br />2. Confirm that a SIM card is inserted into the device. <br />3. Power the device on. <br />4. Wait for up to 2 minutes while the network links your service with your phone.
