You must be located within the Verizon Wireless <br />network to successfully activate your device. <br />3G Devices <br />Follow these steps to complete over - the -air programming: <br />1. Dial *228 then press SEND (the button used to initiate a call). <br />2. When prompted, press 1 (one) to begin programming. <br />3. Wait for up to 2 minutes while the network links your service with your phone. When programming is <br />complete, you will hear a confirmation message and the call will end automatically. <br />4. Power -cycle your device to complete over - the -air activation. <br />4G Devices <br />Follow these steps to complete over -the -air programming: <br />1. Power off the device. <br />2. Confirm that a SIM card is inserted into the device. <br />3. Power the device on. <br />4. Wait for up to 2 minutes while the network links your service with your phone.
