Please save a copy of this reply and your original e-mail for your records.
This will serve as documentation for your permission to continue parking on the City owned property immediately
west of your residence.
As Director of the Park and Open Space Division for the City of Eugene, I give permission for you to continue
using a small amount of land owned by the City of Eugene at Clear Lake Road for temporary parking of vehicles
under the following conditions:
1. The maximum number of vehicles you may park at this location at any one time is 8.
2. All vehicles must be located to the east of the access road and south of but within 150 feet of the entrance
gate into the property from Clear Lake Road.
3. This is a temporary use permission only. You must be willing to relocate any or all of the vehicles off from City
property if given 14 days notice from the City to do so.
4. I'm aware that you work on vehicles at your residence. We are concerned that no spillage of toxic fluids occur
on city property. Therefore you are not allowed to do any mechanical work on parked vehicles involving fluids
(For instance;, gas, oil, lubricants, coolants) on vehicles on city property.
I appreciate your history of watching who enters the property and please let us know if you see anything of
concern. It is our intent to keep the gate closed at all times and restrict access only to those who have been
granted permission by the City or by the farmer who holds a farming lease from us (Robert Irvin). There will be a
combination lock installed on the gate after the first of the year. The combination of that lock for Calendar year
2008 is 6592 which I anticipate will be changed annually. If you see the gate being left open unattended, I would
appreciate your help in closing and locking it.
Thanks
Johnny
From: Tom Embree [mailto:crushthecourse @hotmail.com]
Sent: Tue 11/20/2007 12:30 PM
To: MEDLIN Johnny R
Subject: new golden gardens property
Hi Johnny, I talked to you the other day about parking some of my rigs
on the north east edge of the newly acquired property abutting Golden Gardens park.
12/3/2008
