I think I might want to ask
her to show cause of why we should not deny her request and see what response we get.
John, I feel you did the correct thing in asking them to move out of the west field. In the second instance you said the
northwest field. I'm hoping you don't mean the far northwest field area next to Clear Lake Road or the Bethel School
Dist parcel since we don't own that piece.
Thanks
Johnny
From: WOLD Eric N
Sent: Thursday, November 05, 2009 8:24 AM
To: MEDLIN Johnny R
Subject: FW: Golden Gardens Violations
FYI.. .
From: CLARK John T
Sent: Monday, November 02, 2009 3:38 PM
To: MATSLER Clara T
Cc: WOLD Eric N
Subject: Golden Gardens Violations
Clara,
Approximately two weeks ago I was at Golden Gardens Park with Zane looking at some additional areas to mow. I
encountered three vehicles parked in the field west of the main pond. I approached them and asked for their permits
and asked them if they knew they were in an area that did not allow parking. They acknowledged it was a no- parking
area, but said they figured they had been coming here for years and thought it would be okay. I explained to them that
the City was trying to accommodate all users of the park and that the permit changes were a reflection of that. I asked
them to please move their vehicles to the parking area and to only park there in the future. I also reminded them that
their permits would expire at the end of the month.
Today I visited Golden Gardens to change the combination on the Clear Lake gate. I encountered another person
training a dog out in the north west field of the park. After I changed the combination, I drove over to the vehicle and
saw that it was one of the people I spoke with a couple weeks ago. I reminded her that I just spoke with her a couple
weeks ago and asked if she had received written permission to be here, both in the field training her dog and to be here
