Back in May 2011 we
were looking for more funding for the City Share of the project and it was resolved as follows: 1) $254,615.61 PSF was
reduced from project and Fund 631 covered the payroll costs and 2) the balance of the bid savings $44,335 was
transferred to GJN4546.
After the final payment along with the interest payment is made, I will request that purchasing liquidate the purchase
order balance $100,763.53. The budget available in the project will be $469,760, before any additional PSF is charged to
the project. (This is like 1X funding)
Here are the options:
1) Reverse the May 2011 JE and add the PSF charges back to the project $254,615.61, and then transfer the
balance to Road Fund — Cap Planning project (or another project) in Fund 341 to be used at a later date about
$215 thousand. This would increase the balance available in Fund 631 by $254,615.
2) Transfer the balance less any PSF charges to Road Fund — Cap Planning (or another project) to be spent at a later
date. This would leave $469 thousand for general road fund projects to be used.
3) Do not roll the balance in the project and increase Fund 341 balance available. Increase Fund 341 balance
available by $469 thousand.
4) Any combination of the above option, or something new option you would prefer.
Thank you,
Tammy Smith
Financial Analyst
