Noticeable and notable changes include increased recreational <br />Keeping Elm Green use, habitat changes for wildlife, and increased wildlife species using the ponds, <br />including Western pond turtles. <br />A DIVISION OF PUBLIC WORKS The 2009 season of in -water dog training at Golden Gardens Park resulted in POS <br />issuing 17 permits to park users from neighboring local and distant cities, up from <br />18 11 permits issued in 2008. As you may recall the 2009 season ended Saturday, <br />EUGENE, OREGON 97402 P Y Y <br />October 31, after which vehicle access inside the park and in - water dog training <br />(541) 682-4800 activities will be prohibited. <br />FAX )541) 6824882 <br />WWW.EUGENE -0R.GOY /PARRS The combination lock securing the north gate entrance, off Clear Lake Road, will be <br />changed effective immediately. <br />POS staff may review Vehicle Access Permit requirements for 2010 in upcoming months, <br />and any changes will be included in materials sent during the course of issuing 2010 <br />PARRS AND OPEN SPACE PLANNING permits. <br />PARK OPERATIONS Your request for a Vehicle Access Permit for in -water dog training purposes in 2010 will <br />require a request in writing, similar to your previous requests, and may be submitted at <br />your convenience beginning in February to Clara Matsler in our office.
