The vehicle access permit you were issued <br />previously this year is now effective for the remainder of the 2010 in -water dog training <br />season. <br />A few important reminders: <br />Only vehicles with permits from Parks and Open Space are allowed within the park <br />boundary. The permit must be displayed on the vehicle dashboard so it is visible at all <br />times when the vehicle is inside the park boundary. POS or City of Eugene Police <br />Department staff may ask parties not displaying a permit to cease training activities and <br />remove vehicles from the park: <br />The north gate along the Clear Lake Road access site shall be kept locked at all times <br />except when entering or exiting the park. The lock combination for the access site is <br />7 -3 -1 -3 and will be available August 1. Please contact John Clark (541) 682 -4826 if <br />you experience any difficulty accessing the gate with the combination. <br />Permitted parking is limited to the road between the North Pond and Main Pond as <br />shown on the attached map and will be more strictly monitored. Disregard for this <br />request may result in a vehicle access permit being revoked. Vehicles must be attended <br />at all times. Please contact Debbie should you have questions or concerns about the <br />designated parking area. <br />Direct access to the ponds for dog training activities is limited to the Main Pond and <br />North Pond, as shown on the attached map. No more than two dogs total are allowed to <br />be active in the ponds at any given time. In -water dog training activities is allowed <br />through October 31; Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and dog training <br />and associated vehicle access are not allowed on Saturdays or Sundays.
