I have several contractors removing/controlling weeds. One is doing all manual <br />removal and the other is spot spraying weeds on the banks. Later in September I will have a <br />contractor spraying blackberry re-sprouts throughout the site. <br /> <br />In addition to the weed work we have a contractor out watering the thousands of trees that were <br />planted, as well as contractors building a trail system and pedestrian bridges between <br />Goodpasture Island Road and Delta Hwy. <br /> <br />If you receive phone calls about any of the weed, planting or other natural resource work, please <br />send them my way (x4925). Adam Steffen with Engineering is the lead for the trail and other <br />recreational work. He can be reached at x5040.
