GRABOFSKY Kevin C
From: FOERSTLER Kevin J
Sent: Saturday, August 27, 2011 2:36 PM
To: GRABOFSKY Kevin C; OLSON Kris D
Subject: Stop sign call
Hi,
1
I received a call regarding a stop sign down at the SEC of Adams and W 12 Avenue. The sign post had been broken off
just below ground level. A neighbor said that an enraged individual assaulted the sign at around 2 in the morning,
breaking it off and then ran off down the street.
Ground Was hard and it took a while to extract the broken 4x4. I had another call, so I set a new post with stop sign and
brought back the broken post with the street name signs (very rare to find those anymore) and a sign for the fairgrounds
still attached. It is in front of the transportation offices (west side). There was no round point shovel on truck # 305067
and all batteries for the drill were dead.
Kevin Foerstler
POS Maintenance Supervisor
Parks and Open Space Division
(541) 682 -4833 fax (541) 682 -4882
kevin .i. foerstler(aD-ci.eugene.or. us
Y V
i
3
1
