INVITATION TO SUBMIT QUOTATIONS <br /> <br />CITY OF EUGENE <br />INVITATION TO SUBMIT QUOTATIONS <br />Solicitation Number 2010200077 <br /> <br /> <br />Notice to Contractors <br />Quotes for retrofitting and construction of sidewalk access ramps for the City of Eugene will be <br />th <br />accepted by the Purchasing Office, 100 West 10 Avenue, Suite 400, Eugene, Oregon 97401 until <br />5:00 P.M. Thursday, July 1, 2010. Quotes shall be valid for sixty (60) days after opening unless <br />otherwise specified in the quote specifications. This Invitation to Submit Quotations does not <br />commit the City to pay any costs incurred by any quoter in the submission of a quote. <br /> <br />Project Description <br />In general, work includes retrofitting and construction of sidewalk access ramps to meet American <br />with Disabilities (ADA) Standards. <br /> <br />Solicitation Documents <br />th <br />Solicitation documents may be examined at the City of Eugene Purchasing Office, 100 West 10 <br />Avenue, Suite 400, Eugene, Oregon 97401 or electronically on the eBid system at <br />https://customer.ionwave.net/eugene-or <br /> <br />Prevailing Wage Rates <br />The contract is subject to Oregon Prevailing Wage Rates (ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870) and the <br />Davis-Bacon Act (40 U.S.C. 276a). The contractor and every subcontractor on the project shall pay <br />the higher of state or federal prevailing wage. All offerors shall consult the current wage <br />determination. Bid security must be submitted prior to the bid <br />date and closing time. Surety bond, cashier's checks, certified checks, or irrevocable direct-pay <br />letters are acceptable.
