The City will mark in white paint the limits of concrete <br />removal and proposed ramp to be constructed. The City will maintain the markings during the bid <br />process. It will be the contractor’s full responsibility to have a complete understanding of the type <br />of ramp to be constructed at each location. The standard drawing listed is for reference only as the <br />actual ramp may be modified in order to fit existing right-of-way, infrastructure and structures. City <br />staff can be available by appointment to assist with questions pertaining to the ramp construction <br />or type. City staff may be contacted at (541) 682-4883. <br /> <br />Time of Completion/Liquidated Damages: <br />The Contractor shall diligently prosecute the work to completion for all bid items by no later than <br />October 15, 2010 <br />. <br /> <br />It is agreed that the Contractor shall be liable for and shall pay to the City, as fixed, and agreed, <br />liquidated damages, and not as a penalty, the sum of two hundred dollars ($200.00) per day for <br />each calendar day of delay in completion of the work from the date for completion as specified <br />herein or in any written extension of time granted by the City. <br /> <br />NOTE: The following shall apply to all bid items: <br /> <br />TIME OF COMPLETION AS SPECIFIED WILL BE ENFORCED.
