The City will mark in white paint the limits of <br />concrete removal and proposed ramp to be constructed. The City will maintain the markings <br />during the bid process. It will be the contractor's full responsibility to have a complete <br />understanding of the type of ramp to be constructed at each location. The standard drawing <br />listed is for reference only as the actual ramp may be modified in order to fit existing right -of- <br />way, infrastructure and structures. City staff can be available by appointment to assist with <br />questions pertaining to the ramp construction of type. City staff may be contacted at (541) 382- <br />4883. <br />Time of Completion /Liquidated Damages: <br />The Contractor shall diligently prosecute the work to completion for all bid items by no later than <br />October 15, 2010. <br />It is agreed that the Contractor be liable for and shall pay to the City, as foxed, and agreed, <br />liquidated damages, and not as a penalty, the sum of two hundred dollars ($200.00) per day for <br />each calendar day of delay In completion of the work from the date for completion as specified <br />herein or in any written extension of time granted by the.City. <br />NOTE: The following shall apply to all bid items: <br />TIME OF COMPLETION AS SPECIFIED WILL BE ENFORCED.
