Thursday 9/28
Replace two PVC glue up tees with two, two way cleanout non gluing
PVC tees.
I had asked for clarification on which kind of tee to purchase and
brought what I understood to be the correct item, despite bringing the
glue tees prior to installation and having them seen, I was asked after
installing two to replace with the non glue sweep tees. The two glue tees
installed are not returnable since they had a foot section of pipe glued on
and are now virtually worthless. This is a waste of good nonrenewable
materials.
Cost wasted tees and pipe: $76.72
Cost to remove tees $45.00
Bid for storm water connection was based on PVC to concrete pipe
hookup. I special ordered the two approved mission fittings and found
the storm sewer pipe to be terracotta clay. A different fitting is required
for PVC to terracotta. I cannot return special order parts.
Cost incorrect mission fittings: $118.92
Monday 10/3
Bamboo areas were not on original plan and required more mulch and
special attention not to spread seed in the three areas.
Four yards garden compost mulch: $72.00
Trucking time two hours. $160.00
3 hours to spread mulch in specified areas. $135.00
Void left by vault required three yards of loam to fill to restore grade.
Cost 3 Yards loam $60.00
Trucking time two hours $160.00
Cost machine time to move and compact loam. $ 80.00
Operator time truck and machine two hours. $ 90.00
Total this page: $997.67
310 E. 41 ST AVE.
