ARTICLE 7 <br />PUBLIC NOTICES AND ADVERTISEMENTS <br />WAR <br />7.1. <br /> Invitations to Bid, Requests for Proposals, <br />HEN DVERTISEMENTS EQUIRED <br />and Requests for Qualifications shall be advertised as provided in this Article 7. <br />MP. <br />7.2 <br />ANNER OF UBLICATION <br />7.2 .1G. <br /> Unless another method of publication is required, any contracting <br />ENERAL <br />opportunity, or any public notice required under these regulations may be advertised <br />or given either by publication in a newspaper of general circulation in the <br />Eugene/Springfield metropolitan area, or by using an electronic publication protocol <br />described in Article 14. <br />7.2 .2PIO$125,000. <br /> Solicitation for Bids or Proposals for a <br />UBLICMPROVEMENTS VER <br />Public Improvement contract that has an estimated cost of more than $125,000 must <br />be published in a trade newspaper of general statewide circulation in addition to local <br />publication. <br />7.2 .3AA. <br /> The provisions of subsections 7.2.1 and 7.2.2 are the <br />DDITIONAL DVERTISING <br />minimum requirements for advertisements and notices. The Solicitation Agent may <br />publish any advertisement or notice in such additional media as she or he deems <br />desirable to encourage competition or participation. <br />. <br />TP <br />7.3 <br /> The last publication date of a Solicitation requiring <br />IME OF UBLICATION <br />advertisement shall be at least five (5) days prior to the Solicitation Closing date and at <br />least three (3) days prior to any pre-closing informational tour or conference. In addition, <br />in accordance with ORS 279C.365(d), if the Solicitation is for Public Improvement, the last <br />date of publication may not be less than five (5) days prior to the date of the Closing. <br />CSA. <br />7.4 <br /> A Solicitation advertisement shall <br />ONTENT OF OLICITATION DVERTISEMENT <br />provide the following information to prospective Offerors: <br />7.4 .1 C. <br /> The date and time of the Closing, after which Bids, Proposals, Statements <br />LOSING <br />of Qualifications or other Solicitation responses will not be received. If the <br />Solicitation is for a Public Improvement contract with an estimated Contract Price of <br />more than $100,000, the Solicitation Closing must be on a Tuesday, Wednesday or <br />Thursday between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. unless the Solicitation is for the construction of <br />highways, bridges or other transportation facilities. <br />7.4 .2 PR. <br /> The date that mandatory prequalification <br />REQUALIFICATION EQUIREMENTS <br />applications, if required, must be filed in accordance with these regulations and the <br />class or classes of work for which Offerors must be prequalified. <br />Article 7 Public Notices and Advertisements Page 36 <br />Exhibit A to Administrative Order No. 44-08-06-F <br /> <br />
