This memorandum describes services rendered for the Eugene Parks and Open Space Natural Resource TA Contract ( #2009 -05412) for the first quarter of Calendar Year 2009 (January 1, 2009 to March 31, 2009). The total contract amount is for $46,150 with an end date of December 31, 2009. This is the first quarterly billing narrative for this contract, First Quarter CY 2009 Services Provided Resource Development (grant writing) • Assistance with NOAA grant for Delta Ponds (maps, photos, work program, job creation calculation) • EPA Wetland Program Development Grant (coordination and grant writing) General Parks and Open Space Technical Assistance • Cleaned up data for the WEW Ownership layer and produced update ownership map (Bill Clingman) WEW Annual Report • Completed 2008 WEW Annual Report narrative • Created a new location map for inclusion in the 2008 Annual Report • Produced Annual Report ownership map and re- calculated land in public ownership Recovery Plan Charrette Planning • Provided assistance to Emily Steele to plan two upcoming charrettes Spencer Butte Management Plan • Developed base maps (two scales: summit and entire park) • Started habitat types map (based on SRHS mapping and aerial interpretation) • Conducted trail design research • Wrote draft existing conditions, issues, and opportunities sections • Took and collected photographs • Coordinated with City and TNC staff Mariposa Management Plan ■ Made final edits to Mariposa Management Plan 859 WILLAMETTE STREET, SUITE Soo, EUGENE, OREGON 974oi-2910 www.Icog.org 541.682.4283
