I need to purchase some replacement sewer hose for my Jet trucks. We have always used Parker 3000# PSI (Blue — also known as
Predator series) and have past purchase language in our truck specs that identify that product as being the only hose we would
accept. We also have swaging (hose mending) equipment and dies particular to this brand and spec.
In other wards, other brands, that might be less expensive or more competitive cannot be used with our existing swaging equipment
and dies. So it is almost proprietary excepting that there are a number of vendors that sell Parker products.
What do you need from me to go out to bid (or quotes) to move this forward. An 800 foot roll of sewer hose is about $2500 each
roll.
I would need three (3) 800' rolls of one inch (1 "), 3000 PSI (without splices), one 600' roll of one inch (1 "), 3000 PSI and one 800'
roll of %" 3000 PSI. I could drop the three to only two rolls if it makes it easier to put together a purchase contract. I can provide
actual Parker part numbers and catalog descriptions if that would help any... It is imperative that the full roll 800' length be in the
description (excepting the one 600' roll) because we have had one instance in the past were a vendor tooK a standard 600' hose and
added a 200' length to it. We'd of course like price protection for at least 12 months.
Russ
