June 25, 2010
Anderson Erosion Control Contract Pay Sheets Dated 03/16/2010 and 06/21/2010
for Riparian Planting Work at Delta Ponds
The attached pay sheets are for the first phase of riparian planting work done by
Anderson Erosion Control at Delta Ponds in early 2010. This work is being funded by
two separate grants: Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board grant #209-3007 and a
grant from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
Typically for a contract of this scale, contractors do not submit invoices, but rather
communicate quantities completed. Payment is calculated and documented through pay
sheets like those attached here. What these pay sheets do not show is how the payments
were broken out by grant. In the case of this contract, all amounts were originally
charged entirely to the NOAA grant. This was later corrected on 04/23/2010 so that
$18,621 was applied to OWEB grant #209-3007.
This note is intended to clarify why we are only seeking reimbursement for a portion of
the attached pay sheets and to explain why the City’s expense report for this grant
shows a transfer of funds on 04/23/2010.
Lauri Holts
Natural Resources Enhancement Coordinator
(541) 682-4925
lauri.j.holts@ci.eugene.or.us
