0 <br />City of Eugene <br />Contract 00312 <br />LANE TRANSIT DISTRICT/CITY OF EUGENE PUBLIC WORKS <br />DEPARTMENT <br />BUS STOP/SHELTER LIGHTING AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN: Lane Transit District, hereinafter referred to as LTD <br />AND City of Eugene Public Works Department, hereinafter <br />referred as PWD <br />RECITALS <br />PWD owns property on which LTD bus stops and passenger <br />waiting shelters are placed. <br />2. LTD and PWD mutually agree to the acquisition of power for <br />illuminating bus stops and/or passenger waiting shelters <br />throughout the City of Eugene by wiring connections to existing <br />street light circuits according to the terms set forth below and in <br />any additional exhibits attached hereto. <br />AGREEMENT <br />TERM. This agreement shall be continuous until terminated by <br />mutual agreement or by either party giving at least thirty (30) days' <br />advance notice to the other party. <br />2. INSTALLATION. The installation of passenger waiting shelters at <br />any site is covered by an existing, blanket revocable permit issued <br />by the City of Eugene, Permit & Information Department. The work <br />will include the excavation for placement of PVC conduit and wiring <br />underground from the point of connection at PWD street light circuits <br />to the passenger shelters and backfill and restoration of the surface <br />areas to their prior conditions. In most cases, the points of <br />connection will be at existing street light junction boxes. Future <br />installations also may include the installation of additional street <br />lights by PWD, at LTD expense, to accommodate shelter locations <br />where street lighting circuitry is not currently available. Prior to <br />installation at any designated site, LTD will submit the site <br />installation details to PWD for review and approval. <br />3. INSTALLATION COSTS. All materials and labor required to make <br />the necessary wiring installations between PWD street light circuits <br />and LTD passenger shelters will be provided and paid for by LTD. <br />i <br />Lane Transit District <br />P. 0.
